It has always been the goal of IPMC to provide quality I.T. education to Ghanaians and other countries in the sub-region and this dream is on course as IPMC graduated 345 students from various I.T. and Business programmes on the theme – Empowering the Youth to Succeed in the Changing World.
Out of the total number of graduants, 51 students graduated with Bachelor degrees in Business Computing and Information System and Business and Information Technology from the University of Wales and University of Greenwich respectively.
From the IT department, 11 students graduated with International Advance Diploma in Computer Studies, 19 with International Diploma in Computer Studies.
The Business department also presented 7 students who graduated with International Advance Diploma in Business and 11 graduating with International Diploma in Business. (These numbers does not represent the total number of students who have completed each level of the NCC education pathway)
The remaining 246 students graduated from other professional course ran by IPMC – Diploma in Hardware and Networking Engineering, Software Engineering, Database Administration and Graphic and Web Design.
This has been IPMC’s 4th graduation which saw Mr LAWRENCE AMEKU being awarded with Samsung Tab for being the first student to attain a first class (Bsc BCIS) from this IPMC Labone Centre.
ISAAC ATWERI AMOYAW (BCIS), LYDIE SYNTYCHE NJOUNANG (BIT), JAMES OLUSEGUN OGUNYEMI (IADCS), RACHEAL SACKEY (IADB), AHAVI-TETE AWOVI DIDI (IDCS), BEATRICE DOGBE (IDB) received special prizes of an HCL Laptop each for their effort in their various programmes.
15 students were also presented with Certificate of Honour and badges from NCC Education. The programme brought together the Minister of Employment and Social Welfare of the Republic of Ghana, Hon. E.T. Mensah, Google Ghana Country Director, Ms Estelle Akofio-Sowah, Professor Clement Dzidonu, President of Accra Institute of Technology.
Mr. Amardeep S. Hari, CEO of IPMC and Ms. Vimala Choudary, Head of Training of IPMC and a host of other dignitaries who motivated the students and provided them with the right mind to succeed in the changing world were also present.
Sharing NCC’s vision of bringing quality British education to other parts of the world, we will continue providing the blueprint that the students need to become successful in their various chosen careers.
