IPMC has sponsored Tesano Dolphins Swimming Club, one of the two African representatives of this years 41st Swim Festival organized every year in Arnsberg- Neheim, Germany.
The participants from 45 Clubs with Dolphins of Ghana and Ikoyi Club of Nigeria included other Clubs from Germany, Holland, England and France among others from Europe.
The Team Manager said the mission of the Tesano Dolphins are to raise a team that will offer good competition, produce best swimmers to be the best choice to form the national Swimming team, facilitate sports scholarships for the swimmers and produce swimmers who can qualify to represent Ghana at the next Olympic Games and other feats.
Being the second time in a row, the Dolphins picked 20 medals, 7 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze and came fourth in eight events to place 15 out of 45 Clubs that participated in the competition last month.
