IPMC continues to participate in Social Development Projects nationwide. In the year 2007- 2008. Below were some of the projects undertaken;
- CAPE COAST SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF -
An HP laserjet 1020 was installed at the school in a way to arrest the situation of students having access to printing examination materials only at the end of third term. The School Management Commitee, P.T.A, Staff and students congratulated IPMC for the gesture.
- GHANA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL -
Aiming at the Promotion of IT in schools, IPMC sponsored the IT Awards at GIS with a focus of enhancing the winners' sense of achievement. It has become a yearly affair since 2007.
- SANTACLAUSIANS 1983 -
A cash donation of GH¢ 500 towards the provision of a Reefer Cold Store for Adesadel College was made to the 1983 Year Group. The Group's President on behalf of the group, wrote a letter to express their sincere appreciation for the handsome contribution made.
- GHANA PRISONS SERVICE -
In view of developing and promoting Sports among the inmates and especially handball on the national level, IPMC presented a cheque of GH¢ 5000.00 to the Prisons Service. The Director General of Prisons Service, on behalf of the Prisons community, expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture. He further appreciated the expression of continued interest in the development of Sports in the Service.
- DEBATE GHANA 2008
- NEW HORIZON SPECIAL SCHOOL -
At a concert organized to raise funds to expand school classrooms, IPMC assisted with a contribution of GH¢600. In addition some PC's and printers were given earlier.
- GLONA ACADEMY SCHOOL -
An amount of Gh¢ 2,000 was donated by IPMC of the purchase of teaching and learning materials for the school. The principal of the school mentioned that the donation will go a long way in making difference in the lives of the students. On behalf of the school’s community, she extended their profound gratitude to the management and staff of IPMC for the kind support.

-"Have" Community -
Over a traditional celebration of the “Agadevi” Festival diamond jubilee IPMC contributed GH¢ 5,000 towards the construction of a multi-purpose town hall for the people of "Have" in the Hohoe Municipality.
The Executive of the Accra branch of "Have" Citizens Association led by the chairman, Mr. Eben-Kay Hodo on behalf of the paramount chief and people of Have, presented a wooden plague to the CEO of IPMC at his office in Adabraka to show their appreciation.

-JOY FM CONGRATULATES IPMC-
Multimedia Broadcasting Company, a parent company of Joy FM has congratulated IPMC for winning the ICT Company of The Year 2007.
In a letter dated 25th August 2008, signed by the CEO, Mr. Kwesi Twum and the Business Development Manager, Mr. Charles Van Dyck, read,
“We are delighted to learn that Intercom Programming and Manufacturing Company (IPMC) won the 2007 CIMG ICT Company of the year award at the just ended Marketing Performance Awards ceremony. On behalf of Multimedia Group Ltd., we warmly congratulate you”. It further noted that “This a clear manifestation of your exceptional leadership and we applaud your achievement”.

-SAINT CHARBEL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL-
IPMC presented some computer and printer to the Saint Charbel International School at a short ceremony in Accra.
The school which has been operating for about 3 years now with 120 pupils teaches some foreign languages including English, French and Arabic.
Sister Thereze Mourie Bou Rached who is the head of the school, thanked IPMC for the kind support and lamented that the computer and printer will go a long way to help in their administrative activities.

-NATIONAL BASIC EDUCATION AWARDS-
In an effort to paying its quota to the development and promotion of basic education in Ghana, IPMC supported with both winners in the public and private sectors award, a computer and printer each respectively. The award scheme was also presented with 60 pieces of one of Gurdip Hari’s best selling books “Mental, Physical and Spiritual Health”.
The National Basic Education Awards is organised annually in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service and was instituted in 2006 by Ayekoo Excellence Foundation, a locally based non governmental organization.

-IPMC SUPPORTS “WE CARE ORGANIZATION”-
As part of our commitment and responsibility to support the needy in the society, IPMC took a major sponsorship drive in a benefit performance “CASTLE OR SUICIDE” by undisputed king of Ghana Comedy, KSM. Proceeds from the project would be directed at supporting “WE CARE FOUNDATION’S” soup kitchen in Asiakwa, an NGO based in the Ashanti Region.
IPMC sponsored GH¢2,000 towards this worthy cause.
-AGI HONOURS IPMC-
“Policy Recommendations for a Growth-Oriented Tax Reform in Ghana” was the presentation theme for this year’s AGI Business Executives Luncheon held at the African Regent Hotel in Accra on Thursday 4th September 2008.
Highlights of the meeting saw members discussed some of the challenges of business climate and conditions presently facing the business sector in Ghana.
IPMC received a Sponsorship Certificate, AGI Business Climate Survey (BCS) 2007 as part of its contribution to sponsoring AGI throughout the past years.

- CAPE COAST SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF -
IPMC as part of it's deep concern for the physically disable once again presented an HP laserjet Printer and a PC to the school.
- ARGENTINA BABES -
Mr. Amar D. S. Hari, the CEO of IPMC, presented 3 Sets of jerseys and an amount of GH¢ 300 to Argentina Babes, a football team at East Legon. Mr. Godfred Abbey, the manager of the team was very grateful to the gesture and expressed his apreciation to IPMC.
- AMICUS ONLUS GHANA -
Amicus Onlus Ghana, a non-governmental organization, commended IPMC once again for paying for all the 1200 booklets and stationery provided for the 2008 youth empowerment summit held recently at the National Theatre.
- BG TALENT INSTITUTE -
BG Talent Institute, an Acting and Music school located on the Ring Road near Bus Stop Restaurant, received support from IPMC. BG received a cash donation of GH¢ 400 together with an Office space at the IPMC Ring Road branch premises.
The CEO of IPMC further committed a 25% discount as a course sponsorship for BG students who register on the Graphic Design course programs with IPMC as part of the package.
Labone & Teshie Branch Party
IPMC has supported programmes in the areas of education, social welfare, environmental protection and many more.
As part of it's continuous social responsibilities, IPMC decided to put smiles on the faces of needy and
under priviledge who have one way or the other been deprived of all the excitement and happiness Christmas brings. -

IPMC supports the development of soccer
IPMC has once again supported Argentina Babes F/C, a football club based at East Legon in the Greater Accra Region. IPMC presented sets of football jerseys and an unspecified amount of money. The head of the football team Mr. Godfred Abbey thanked IPMC for it's continuous support and urged other companies to support them. The club joined the Greater Accra District juvenile Football Association in 2004.

PAIN Association of Ghana appreciates IPMC
IPMC made a donation of GH 2000 to the PAIN Association of Ghana in response to the association request for support from respective companies and organisations during their launching. Dr Gladys Amponsah, President of the Association in a letter to the CEO of IPMC, thanked IPMC and mentioned that the Association will
participate in IPMC's IT College activities for the mutual benefit of all.

Center for e-Governance recieves support from IPMC
Governments the world over are working hard to achieve efficiency, transparency and responsiveness, which are the basic tenets of good governance. Over the last 40 years, digital technology has changed the way; governments and it's citizens think and manage services.
It is of this view that IPMC, presented a cheque for GH c 500.00 to the Center for e-Governance when the organization presented its request for sponsorship.

OSU DIVISIONAL COUNCIL APPRECIATES IPMC
The Osu Divisional Council has appreciated IPMC with the immense contribution towards the Osu Homowo 2009 celebrations.
In a letter dated 29th July 2009 to the CEO, it stated that "As with last year, your company has made a generous contribution towards the celebrations." It further stated that "Nii Nortey Owuo III, Osu Mantse, President of the Osu Divisional Council and Member, Ga Traditional Council, has asked that we convey to you, the gratitude of the council, the chief and elders of Osu, for the wonderful support you offered towards the Homowo celebrations".
IPMC DONATES TO CHRISTO-CENTRIC
Students of the Labone branch, IPMC College of Technology, have visited the Christo-Centric Orphanage at Dome, near Achimota in Accra to spend time with the orphans and to make a donation of varied items.
The students, led by Nana Adwoa Okoro-Deutesfeld and Anthony Atumeku Brebu-Dadzie found information about the orphanage on the internet. This particular orphanage was chosen because it was small and not popular, and has not been receiving much help from the public. The preparation for this visit took about 2 months. To encourage other well-meaning bodies to replicate the kind deed, the Daily Guide Newspaper, Peace FM Radio Station and TV3 TV Station were present to cover the event.
The orphanage caters for 25 orphans, all of various ages including 5 year olds in kindergarten and Senior High School students.
Even though the rains forced the program to be held indoors, It did not deter the purpose of the program.
One impressive thing about the event was that after the presentation of items, the students and staff freely shared their experiences with the orphans and engaged them in various activities like spelling, musical chairs, ludo games and playing cards.
Assorted items like drinks, toiletries, toys, play items, games, used clothes and other items all amounting to GH¢ 300 for the orphans.
Two of the orphans, who have completed Senior High School, have always expressed their dream of becoming graphic designers.
The director of the orphanage, Mrs. Rebecca Omare, thanked the students for their kind gesture and took the opportunity to ask for more support, ending by saying that the children were the future and we should take good care of them.
IPMC Awards SCHOLARSHIPS
IPMC College of Technology of the Teshie location, surprisingly awarded 4 scholarships to the tune of GH¢ 3,600 for the registered enquiries present at the forum. Out of 200 registered entries, Mr. Eleazer Sefenu, Royal Technical College, Ms. Abigail Mensah, Presbytarian Secondary School, Mr. Tasiame Josephson Klutse, Royal Technical College and Mr. Michael Anyetei Nai, also of the Presbytarian Secondary School became winners of the raffle draw.
More than 500 students from both JHS and SHS levels in and around the Teshie Nungua Municipality assembled at the Nungua Traditional Authority premises on 16th October 09 to commemorate the International Poverty Eradication Day organized by Global Centre for Youth Advocacy & Development in collaboration with the Christian Council of Ghana.
Speakers at the event were Mr. Sowah, chairman of the event, who spoke on UNDP's programme outline for poverty eradication in Ghana and the rest of the world.
Other speakers were Mr. Seth Yakesi, representative from the National Commission on Civic Education, Mr. Opare Williams, MP Representative for Krowor and Marylin Aloysius, Teshie administrator, IPMC College of Technology.
IPMC TRAINS PERSONNEL OF AENEAS PROJECT
The AENEAS Project on behalf of its stakeholders and IPMC went into a Service Contract agreement to train its officers and personnel within the five participating agencies (Ghana Immigration Service, Passport Office, Ghana Police Service, Birth and Death Registry and Registrar Generals Department) to offer Basic and Advance IT Training to combat document fraud and its related issues.
The first phase of the training programme, Basic training in Office Suite was held from 13 July 2009 - 31 August, 2009 for a period of Six (6) Weeks, has been concluded.
IPMC DONATES TO POWER HOUR INT. SCHOOL
Five computers were donated to the Power Hour International School at Madina, in the Ga West Municipality in Accra.
Rev. Joseph Kyei Baah, proprietor and head of the school, indicated that the school had been in need of a computer to speed up its administration duties. He subsequently laid a request to Mili Rughani who in turn forwarded a request to IPMC. He revealed that the school which has 145 students both male and female has a lot of challenges including computers for the smooth administration duties.
He was very grateful to IPMC for this kind gesture.
IPMC DONATES TO NRSC & DVLA
IPMC has donated an HCL laptop computer to the National Road Safety Commission (NRSC) and Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA), in support of a debate organized in a series of activities as part its 10th Anniversary celebrations themed "Road Safety - A Shared and Collective Responsibility".
The donation, being part of the awards for the emerging winner of the debate organized between Aquinas SHS and Labone SHS, was in response to a request made by NRSC and DVLA to support the participating schools as present.
The debate which saw both schools delivering good and brilliant points on whether or not road safety is everybody's responsibility, carved a notch that both schools had really prepared very well for the debate. Aquinas SHS came first with 257 points whilst Labone SHS followed closely with 250 points.
The former MTTU Police commander, ACP (rtd.), Mr. Victor Tandoh thanked IPMC for its support.

IPMC REWARDS BLACK SATELLITES
IPMC has presented a GH¢ 10,000 cheque as donation to the Black Satellites of Ghana for winning the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

A short ceremony was held at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium press center to officially announce the presentation. Present at the ceremony were Mr. Worlanyo Agrah, CEO of the National Sports Council, Helen Annan - Office of the President, Mr Kojo Bonsu - a Businessman and Francis Dodoo, Chairman of the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA)., all members of the committee responsible for Black Satellites donations.
Chairman of the committee and also head of the National Hockey Association, Oko Niikoi Djanie mentioned that IPMC has been of tremendous support to the sports industry especially in Hockey. “We are very grateful to IPMC for the support all these years and we say thank you” he said.

Amar D. S. Hari, CEO of IPMC, said the achievement of the team is worth celebrating hence the company’s decision to throw in its support. “Playing a strong country like Brazil in a final match with 10 men and still become the world champions, is a great achievement to be recommended and rewarded” he said.
IPMC DONATES TO ACCRA PSYCHIATRIC
IPMC has presented an HCL infinity computer, an epson printer and tally 9 single user to the Accra Psychiatric hospital in Accra. In a presentation to officially present the items, Mr. Bortei Abraham, (Head of Administration) said on behalf of the entire hospital, he thanks IPMC for this great donation.

GETTING EMPLOYMENT FOR HIV WOMEN
The Government of Ghana estimated the number of adults and children living with HIV as of 2004 at 404,000. The Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) estimated the HIV prevalence in adults to be 3.1% at the end of 2003, with an estimated 350,000 people living with HIV/AIDS. Ghana's 2003 Demographic and Health Survey reported prevalence at 2.2% among the 9,000 people who agreed to be tested.
IPMC as part of its social responsibility assists in creating employment opportunities for HIV positive women of the very lower income group. The women are engaged in the making of IPMC key holders (made of local beads).
