All data are securely held in the Alumni/Development Office and will be treated confidentially and with sensitivity for the benefit of IPMC College of Technology and its members. Data are used for a full range of alumni activities, including distribution of publications, the promotion of benefits and services to alumni (including arranging discounts with selected IT suppliers), notification of alumni events and for programmes involving academic and administrative departments. Data may also be used in fundraising programmes, which could include an element of direct marketing.
The data will not be passed to external organisations. Under the terms of the Data Protection Act you have the right to object to the use of your data for any or all of the above purposes (and in particular the provision of information about special offers and discounts).
